Night TerrorsAlone you wait in that place you call home. All alone with that lingering fear rotting at your chest as you lock the door. Behind the bushes you glance out from the hall window. Is there something there? Or are you just seeing things? That eerie scratching at the windows coming from all sides. The creaking of the floorboards and that slow moving shadow. Slowly crossing the room almost as if reaching out to grab hold. Your heart beginning to race at the fear that begins to assault its very beat. Fallen From GraceEvery morning I awake to look up upon this tiled ceiling. The defiled shades of white and the sorrowful shine. Which reflects back from its smoke stained surface. The fires in which once would lead my mind to look forward. The eager burning from within no longer existing. The forsaken embers left to slowly die out as the faith. The Faith it once held within seems to have vacated from within. The darkness which once was repelled by my pride now falling in. Once proud was I when I was sure of what I was. No Justice, No Lies.Proud and brave the white knight stands before the mirror. His entire world revolving around the greater good, and the conquering of the defined evil that threatens his Valhalla. His perfect world in which he dreamed nothing more then to keep around. Yet deep within as his empty gaze stares onward. The very world that he had grown to love and hold dear.
